We sent out original color transparencies from our stock files on a call for gulf drilling
rigs. When the designer chose this image we scanned the film with our Imacon scanner
and color corrected the RGB file. We tagged the color space and delivered the high
resolution, color-managed file to the printer over high speed dsl. The client wanted to
capture the vibrant look of our predawn shot so accurate color reproduction was essential.
A careful, color-managed workflow made it possible.
